Mission
Founded in 1992, Temple Terrace Ballet is a community based dance school offering superior training in classical ballet and modern dance. It is housed at the Temple Terrace Recreation Center Studios I and II, thus making classes more affordable and at the reach of all who wish to learn about this art or become a serious dancer.
We offer a complete curriculum for students ages 3 years through adult including classes in classical ballet, pointe, modern dance, pas de deux and variations (repertoire). Dancers have the opportunity to perform at the end of each semester with one performance at the Lightfoot Center in December and another at Armwood High School in May both free to the public. Dancers are also invited every year by the community to perform at the Arts Festival, Club luncheons, and Temple Terrace Ballet offers a free dance concert for the seniors of the surrounding community every year in celebration of St. Valentine's Day.
Our main goals are:
To educate the community in this very beautiful art of dance
To encourage the artistic expression of the students through performance
To promote individuality of artistic expression offering classical and
contemporary ballet and modern dance pieces during our performances
To create future fans of the art of dance and thus a culture of classical ballet
To offer a staff of professional, certified and dedicated teachers who love and
enjoy what they do.
Welcome to our program!
